Two Quick Yellows…

Luckily, the count on the yellow cards is one for each side. Capt. Jimmy Conrad received one in the sixth minute for clipping Walter Martinez (F) just after the Robbie Rogers corner kick. For Honduras, Jerry Palacios (F) got called for a yellow for a challenge at the top of the box during the eight minute.

Not really a rough game thus far, hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. Quick note, Honduras is controlling the ball much better than the U.S. right now, but they haven’t been able to capitalize on it. No clear momentum swings as we enter the 15th minute of play.

Now we’re down a man as Jimmy Conrad just picked up his second yellow. What the…?
